FAQ

Mobile EV fleet charging questions.

What is mobile EV fleet charging?

Fleet charging that comes to the vehicles. Instead of building a fixed depot and waiting for a utility upgrade, megawatt-class charging blocks and DC dispensers are delivered to the yard where the fleet already parks, and charge vehicles during their normal dwell window.

Which fleets is it for?

Fleets of 50 or more vehicles, or sites that need 500 kW and up: last-mile delivery and Amazon DSPs, semi and drayage fleets, autonomous and robotaxi depots, OEM and dealer lots, and events that need temporary power.

Do we need a utility upgrade?

No. Blocks carry battery storage and connect to an existing service of any size, or run without one. Charging starts while any permanent upgrade works through the utility queue.

Where do you provide fleet charging?

In Florida (Miami-Dade and Broward), Massachusetts (Boston and the North Shore), California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Bay Area), New York (Manhattan), Illinois (Chicago and the North Shore): 50 city service areas and 335 ZIP codes. Outside them, send the address and we confirm coverage in the Site Power Plan.

How do we pay for it?

Per site, quoted after a Site Power Plan. Most fleets choose Charging-as-a-Service, billed per kWh or per dispenser with no equipment purchase.

Is it temporary or permanent?

Either. Some fleets use mobile charging as a bridge until a depot is energized; others run on it long term because it moves and scales with the fleet.
